Kendriya Vidyalaya Maithon Dam is
actively involved in the Scouting and Guiding Movement It has
three trained Scout Masters, Two Guide Captains, 124 Scouts, 43
Guides, 32 Cubs and 16 Bulbuls. |

In 2007-08, four Scouts and four Guides attended
the Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp at Kendriya Vidyalaya Khurda Road
and Kendriya Vidyalaya Gopalpur Military Station. |

CUBS-BULBUL UTSAV : 2007-08 |

The Cubs-Bulbul Utsav for the
KV's under Dhanbad Cluster was held at Kendriya Vidyalaya Maithon
Dam on 10th January 2008. 36 Cubs and 36 Bulbuls from Kendriya
Vidyalaya Gomoh, No.2 Dhanbad, Singharsi and Maithon Dam
participated in the Utsav. The Utsav was attended by the
Principals of KV Gomoh, No.2 Dhanbad, Singharsi and I/c. Principal
of KV No.1, Dhanbad. The Utsav was a great success. |
